Second Harvest Food Bank

“Here in Louisiana, food is a part of our culture and tradition. Food centers us and brings
multi-generations together around a dinner table. But for some families, food is a struggle.
I support Second Harvest Food Bank because the idea of families in my own community
struggling with hunger is heartbreaking.

Second Harvest Food Bank is working hard across south Louisiana to meet such a basic need.
Every week, Second Harvest Food Bank feeds over 41,000 people. They are our neighbors,
our friends, someone at work or someone at church. They are struggling with putting food
on the table for their family.

I invite you and your family to join me by hosting a Harvest at Home evening
and bring the issue of hunger into your home. Together, we can support
Second Harvest Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger in our community.”
